For sale is this beautiful antique Chinese box. This small wooden box is decoratively designed with traditional Asian artwork. It is made of wood that has been layered with a thin black material (likely lacquer). There are some chips and blemishes in this outer coating. The coating was then decorated using dark blue pigments, and other decorative marks. It closes with a pair of bronze hinges. This beautiful antique likely dates back to circa 1800-1900’s, and might have been used practically, or intended as a souvenir or decoration piece. This piece would look beautiful on display, and would look great in any collection! Don’t pass it up!
