This is such a neat piece of history from Ithaca College in Inthaca, New York!!!! I contacted the college’s archive department about three years ago trying to find out more about this jersey. Unfortunately I did not get anywhere. I wanted to know the sport (basketball?) men’s/women’s and or player this might have belonged to. I’m hoping that someone will be able to find out more and cherish this amazing piece! The company who manufactured this jersey is Blepp-Coombs Sporting Goods 5324 Superior Ave. Cleveland, Ohio. The company was formed in 1930. The label resembles the ones I’ve seen from the 40’s/50’s. The Ithaca College Emblem on the front and number 3 on the back are felt. The jersey doesn’t state what material it is made out of. It has a bit of a sheen to it maybe a rayon blend? Not sure. The sides have white stripes that run down from arm pit to bottom hem. The tag that states the size is fraying so you can no longer read the size. There is pilling throughout the jersey.

Measurements are as follows: (flat lay)

Waist: 15”

Length: neckline to hem 21”

Back collar to hem 24”

Pit to pit: 13” (inside seem)
