Photograph Notes: The road continues to the dam, crosses it, rounds the hill rising on the left side of the image before crossing another dam then reaching a power station. Although the public road ends at the dam there appears to be no objection to motoring further. The water flow of the Garbh-uisge (the name given to the river below,) is regulated by the operators of the dam and for much of the time it seems there's little or no flow, as when this image was recorded.
