Here’s a copy of the first new edition of The Art of the Bonesetter limited to six hundred and fifty copies this is copy number ninety one.

“Originally published in 1884, GM Bennett's book, 'The Art of the Bonesetter,' aimed to vindicate "The Art," troubled as it was by contemporary medical experts' disdainful attitudes and critical comments. It contained endorsements from the good and the great as to the effectiveness of his treatments. A bonesetter was a practitioner of joint manipulation. Before the birth of chiropractors and physical therapists, bonesetters were the primary providers of this type of treatment.”

The book is in very good condition slight storage marking to the cover. A mark to top end edges of the pages and slight sticker residue to the top of the first page.
