Slate Blue Heathfield Stripe 1940s Forties Retro Spearpoint Collar Shirt

Forties vintage style cotton shirt with a spearpoint collar and a dark blue-grey, white and light blue stripe. It's a faithful replica of an authentic vintage piece, making it perfect for fans of classic midcentury fashion.

Wider blue-grey stripes set on a white background with thin light blue stripes between.

Our long spear collar shirts have been inspired by those worn in the thirties and forties. We've recently refined the shape even further to really capture the 1930s or 40s wartime look.

This shirt has double or French cuffs which come with complimentary black and silver circular cufflinks, which can of course be exchanged for a style of your own.

The slate blue stripe Heathfield also has shoulder and back yokes, and hem godets at the side seams.

The arms are a little longer than a modern shirt, which was true to the period: only one sleeve length was available, hence why expanding sleeve garters were often worn to keep sleeves up. Gold and silver sleeve garters or St. George's armbands are available in our cufflinks section if you'd like to enhance your look further with a pair.

Made in Europe. 60% cotton, 40% polyester - a lightweight blend that makes the shirt easy to iron.

Care instructions: Wash at 40 degrees. Do not bleach. Warm iron. Do not tumble dry.
