Frosted silver medal housed within glass lunettes, held together within silver band engraved around the edge 'No 1 J.P Sowerby, Trinity Hall, 1865'.

Missing obverse lunette. Housed within original wooden case with silver shield mounted on it, engraved with the complete rowing team for the University Trial Eights (lid detached and missing part of bottom panel). A fantastic piece of sporting memorabilia.
