KM-P27, 1984 Israel 5 sheqalim; aluminum-bronze, reeded edge; early annual piefort (piedfort) double thickness of the standard issue coin, Star of David in the field. Here is the Sheqel description of the design:

The 5 Sheqalim is adorned with a single cornucopia filled with fruits. The cornucopia (horn of plenty) was a popular decoration during the Hasmonean period, possibly indicating a period of economic and commercial prowess. The ancient coin depicted was minted during the reign of John (Yehohanan) Hyrcanus I (135 - 104 BC). This coin shows a single cornucopia, an oddity considering that almost all other similar coins from that period are decorated with a double cornucopia.

Uncirculated proof or proof like, some toning, see high resolution scans to estimate condition yourself and pictures for the overall look and feel.

Please note if eBay lists at the top of the page that I am away, I will only be able to ship coins once I return, I have to travel quite a bit for work. I always list the date of the return so that you can decide to buy and wait or buy a different coin. Thank you for your understanding.
