This decal sheet is intended to supply authentic markings for the Oxford Diecast Bedford J1 Lomas Ambulance. Four options are supplied.
Remove the tampo printed lettering from the donor vehicle.
For Options 1, 2 and 3 a minor modification to the cab door is required. A fillet of plastic card is placed at the top to make the window rectangular. It is then blended in with Milliput or Squadron White Stuff.
Option 1 and 2. Army Medical Services. These vehicles are identical apart from the registration numbers (04FK34, 04FK45). Use window set 1 for these vehicles. The larger red crosses are placed between the windows. The smaller red crosses are placed below the windows on the rear doors. The Army Medical Services lettering is placed centrally on the side below the windows. The Ambulance sign in the oval is placed above the windscreen.
Option 3. Royal Navy. This vehicle 50RN68 is identical to the above except that window set 2 is used. Royal Navy replaces the Army lettering on the side in the same place.
Option 4. Army Medical Services. This vehicle 12DL12 is not lettered in any way and has a circular red cross sign above the windscreen. Window set 3 is used.
