Top cover is clear - possibly the top was replaced
and unable to find a silver match
I have never seen this in silver, and looked it up,
and they did make silver, but it was rare and not many made.
Vintage Pressed Glass Candy Dish/Bowl
Condition: Pre-owned good condition with no chips. Bottom is in a silver finish, which is rare.
Some of the silver close to the top has worn - but most intact. Top is clear. Likely - the top needed to be replaced, and they were unable to find one in silver. Just a guess.
