The Pied Bull Inn 5751-7 Heritage Dickens Village Signature Series 1993 MIB

From the Dickens’ Village Signature Series of the Dept 56 Heritage Village Collection, this is the Pied Bull Inn.  Over the side entrance door is the address, “23 Saint John’s Hook”, the sign at top of the Inn announces that it was built in 1784, and the sign proudly announces that it is the Pied Bull Inn. By the way, “pied” means “multicolored”; so this name refers to a multicolored bull. Odd, eh?

This wonderful rendering of this historic inn was introduced in 1993 2nd edition as #5751-7.  It measures 6 ¾” wide x 9” tall x 5” deep and made of hand-painted porcelain.  It is in perfect condition with chips or cracks in the original box and packing. [2119]
