1977 SCHMID BEATRIX POTTER JEREMY FISHER MUSIC BOX LAZY RIVER 271 MADE IN JAPAN WORKS!
1977 - Excellent preowned condition. New York & London the Tale of Jeremy Fisher.
Handpainted with a pastel palette. Mr. Jeremy Fisher (he's a toad) with fishing rod and very detailed creel to hold his "catch of the day" in a pond setting. Blue & White Lilies, reeds, grasses, form a lovely background.
Bottom has Beatrix Potter
Wooden panel on the bottom states Schmidt hand painted then a company name (maybe the musical company?) hard to see then New York & London 1977 The Tale of Jeremy Fisher. Lastly the paper tag Schmidt is attached with the words "Lazy River" No. 271 Japan.
Dimensions: 7.2 inches tall by 5 inches wide.
Hand painted, no original box, but I will pack VERY carefully. I will remove bamboo fishing pole from the frog and wrap separately in the box.
