Product Description:

This offering is for a new-old-stock Icon (TREK) threadless stem that measures 120 mm in length and has a 0 degree rise. TREK labels this stem as a mountain bike stem primarily due do the bar clamp specs noted below, which are common for most straight or riser bars.

This stem was part of the TREK branded Graphite Series...so good quality...and measures 120 mm from the center of the steerer to the center of the stem clamp. These model stems have become a relatively tough find, especially in new-old-stock condition. It's made from a heat treated aluminum alloy (T6 6061 AL) and is probably best categorized as a middle-of-the-road offering that weighs in at a respectable 169 grams (per the retail packaging).

As for other specs, the steerer diameter measures 28.6 mm (or 1 1/8") and the handlebar clamp measures 25.4 mm (and includes a detachable face plate for easy handlebar installs/uninstalls).

The stems are still connected to their original retail packaging, which is really nothing more than a cardboard sheet that is zip-tied to the stem. The packaging is still beneficial in that it includes good information regarding these stems, but it has done little to protect the stems from shopwear while in storage. As a result (and as we have attempted to illustrate in some of the pictures), these stems will have some shopwear (scuffs and scratches in the gray enamel finish. They still show fairly well overall, but please keep in mind there will be some marks on each of these stems (when considering a purchase). Listing Update...I only have two of these stems left in this model/size (so I have updated the pictures to reflect the next one that will sell/ship).

Note to international customers regarding shipping...
We apologize to those that feel some of our international shipping charges are too high. We only charge actual shipping rates, but once an order exceeds a certain amount, we hesitate to use the least expensive US Postal Services First Class International service. We feel this way, because this service is not trackable or insurable...so more risk of loss. We prefer the US Postal Services Priority Mail International service for more expensive orders, because this service is trackable at USPS.com and insurable...so less risk of loss. Unfortunately, this service is more expensive, especially for smaller/lighter packages, relative to the First Class International service. We are sorry about these higher shipping costs, but hopefully our notes help to explain why this is the case.

Note to international customers regarding customs...
We also apologize to those that feel their country import taxes, duties and brokerage fees are excessive. As a small US business, we are required by customs' laws to declare each order as a retail sale. Additionally, the declared order value must be equal to total store purchases and/or winning auction bids (less any shipping costs, as these are not considered in the declared value). As a result, each customer will be responsible for paying his/her own country taxes, duties and brokerage fees, which will be collected upon delivery. Again, we apologize for these additional costs, but we cannot afford the penalties and fines that come with breaking customs' laws...so we have to strictly abide by them.
