The original skull drawing by Damien Hirst refers to one of his most popular, expensive and controversial sculptures. "For The Love Of God" was produced in 2007 and consists of a platinum cast of an 18th-century human skull encrusted with 8,601 flawless diamonds. The original artwork is a "memento mori", or reminder of the mortality of the viewer. This drawing on a white index card, measuring approx. 8x12 inches (20x30 cm) and therefore ideal for framing, comes from London, England, where I met him back in 2016. Damien Hirst was kind enough to hand-sign his little drawing done with a blue sharpie. The item may show minor signs of handling, storage or age. It comes from a pet-free/smoke-free environment. 

Just like this drawing, I obtain all autographs face-to-face (“in person“). I started collecting signed items back in 1985 and only decided to give some of them away several years ago. Since then, I have earned the trust of many satisfied customers from around the world, resulting in an excellent reputation and feedback rating here on ebay. I guarantee the authenticity of each and every signature I offer. If you wish me to do so, I will be glad to issue a personal letter of authenticity, telling you in detail when, where and under what circumstances I received a signature in question. That written statement is a lifetime guarantee, that the item you bought is genuine. 

It goes without saying that I will be very accurate and careful preparing and packing the item for you. Regarding the value of the item, I will only send it insured and registered with a tracking ID. That's obviously more expensive, but worth the investment. The insurance will protect both of us. Because this is a private auction, I do not accept returns.
