Katsufumi Hara
Born 1947 in Ogi, Saga Prefecture. 2002 Started manufacturing. 2005 Made a tea-serving doll. In 2006, he participated in a Karakuri workshop led by Susumu Higashino (a contemporary master craftsman and Karakuri engineer). Since then, he calls himself a thunder disciple and frequently goes in and out of Higashino Kobo. 2007-2013 Restoration and production of dangaeri dolls, tea cup girls, archery doji, character writing dolls, etc. In 2015, he built an automatic guide car, Michibiki. While continuing to make Edo karakuri dolls, we are working to popularize them (this data was published at the time this book was published).
