These are 3D printed replacement trunk/boot grommets for Audi A8/S8 D2 since the OEM ones no longer fulfill their purpose. Factory grommets affected by sunlight, water, cold and warm weather overtime start leaking water, become extra brittle and eventually fall apart leaving open hole in a car's trunk/boot. Audi as a manufacturer never offered replacement parts for this situation so I have made a model which perfectly fits the intended place where the originals supposed to be. 

I have installed this grommet set 3 years ago and I never had issues considering this case. I live in a country where we have harsh winters and hot summers, I wash my car regularly with a pressure washer and these grommets to this day hold as they were brand new. I check my car's trunk for water leaks and I have never found them.

Grommets are printed using TPE material. TPE has elastic properties, is resistant to oil and water. Since these parts are 3D printed, minor imperfections may be seen but I can assure you they have no effect for grommet's functionality. Every single part is inspected carefully for defects before shipping.

Installation:

Installation process of these grommets is very simple. There is no need to break harness, you don't need to use any glue, silicone or other products and tools. Grommets fit perfectly in their intended place making it impossible for them to pop out or leak water. Grommets fit both left and right sides of the trunk. Before installation, grommets can be held in a hot water for couple of minutes. That will make them softer and more flexible, thus easier to install.

Buying this set you will receive 2 grommets which are intended for Audi A8/S8 D2 trunk/boot holes which diameters are 35 mm (for a bigger hole) and 26 mm (for a smaller hole), cable diameter is 8 mm. Before making a purchase make sure that these measurements are the same on your car. This grommet set was made to fit A8/S8 D2 models.
