Smallville - Kryptonian Dagger, 3Dprinted prop replica with galaxy crystal stand

"The Kryptonian dagger is a type of dagger associated with the Fortress of Solitude.

The first blade was given by Jor-El to Clark Kent to destroy Lex Luthor, the Kryptonian vessel of General Zod.

A second dagger was found by the clone of Lara-El in the Fortress of Solitude. It was unsuccessfully used by Kara in an attempt to kill Zor-El's clone."

The Dagger itself has been 3D printed in photosensitive resin in two parts, the blade and the hilt. The blade has been painted in a metallic silver paint in several layers with an automotive clearcoat to give it a high quality metallic appearance.

The hilt has been 3D printed in a high clear photosensitive resin using a specialised process to reduce bubble imperfections, it has then been sanded and clear coated to create a truly crystal like, high clarity hilt.

The Galaxy crystal base itself is a work of art and is 3D printed in high clear photosensitive resin before being masked and painted in an automotive gloss black. various paints are then used to simulate the galactic appearance of the base which is then faded into the crystals. the whole stand is then given a clear coat to enhance the paintwork and give the top half a more crystalline appearance.

The light system is a small LED setup powered by a CR2032 replicable battery in the base with a small switch on the back.
