Description: The first of the "Choir School" novels based on Canterbury Cathedral Choir. A nice example of the first printing of the first edition. Original cloth hardback in the original dustwrapper. 199 pages with illustrations by C Walter Hodges, all present and correct.  8.5 inches by 6 inches. 

The dustwrapper is not price clipped showing the original 10s 6d price to the inside of the front flap (see pictures). The dustwrapper has wear, tear and creasing with about 5% loss in total mainly to the front cover (see picture). The book itself is in attractive condition with some fading and a small mark to the front cover (see pictures). Clean and free of inscriptions (see pictures).  Binding sound and square.
