Plays beautifully.
My mother was a huge fan of Gone with the Wind and Scarlett O'Hara.
This musical figurine was given as a gift and she was meticulous with her things. I doubt the music box was wound more than a handful of times so it "wouldn't wear out".
Figurine comes in original box with styrofoam inserts to keep her safe.
