Photograph Notes: The top end of Broad Street. The half-timbered building on the right, no 13 dates from the early to mid 17th century and is grade II listed - see ://historicengland.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1202837. Next to it is nos 10 and 9 with a largely 18th century front but with later additions, also grade II listed - see ://historicengland.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1219168. The imposing half timbered building beyond (with the tower of St Laurence's Church just visible above its roof) is the former Angel Hotel, which closed in the 1990s and has now been converted to housing. The building dates from the 17th century and is grade II listed - see ://historicengland.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1291441.
