Ornate Gold Trimmed China Side/Cereal Bowls by Sabin. 

7 5/8" round. Sit a little over 2" tall. Very good size bowl for salad, cereal, dessert, etc.

These were made in 1940s. The bowls are unmarked, but are a perfect match for the Sabin SAB1 pattern. Sabin was a US company located in Pennsylvania that imported china and then decorated it. These bowls would be beautiful for serving that special dessert. I believe the filigree is 22k gold. In good vintage condition, some wear may be apparent, but no chips or cracks noted.
