3 ORIGINAL MEDIUM FORMAT NEGATIVES OF THE FLAMENCO DANCER, ARTIST, & SCULPTOR FROM HACKNEY IN LONDON AS HE CHATS WITH HIS DANCERS, TAKEN IN THE EARLY 1950s

Ron lead a fascinating life, appearing as a flamenco dancer at night in London nightclubs while selling shirts in an East End market by day.  He became known as El Chino because of his dress style. He was also a very accomplished artist & sculptor.

The club is probably either Bagatelle, Latin Quarter or Gargoyle as Ron danced in all of them

Taken by Doug Burns who was a Society photographer in the 1950s and 1960s
