Yale 6 pin Euro Thumbturn Cylinder Lock 25:10:40(75mm) T2540 KA ( Keyed Alike)

The Yale 6 Pin Euro Thumbturn cylinder is a convenient everyday locking solution, suitable as a replacement product on PVCu, timber and composite doors that require a standard level of security.

BS EN 1303 :2015 assist you through the designing of cylinders for locking systems ensuring strength, security, durability, performance and corrosion resistance of cylinders and their original keys installed to prevent unauthorised access. 

The cylinder can be measured in 2 different methods.

Method 1

Measure the cylinder in 3 parts ; the first cylinder section,  the center  'cam' and the last cylinder section.

Always measure the shortest section of the cylinder first.

For example, if  the three measurements are 25mm, 10mm and 40mm

The cylinder required would be

25T/10/40

Method 2

Measure the cylinder in two parts

Each cylinder section is measured to the centre of the cam or fixing hole.

As with the method one always measure the shortest section first.

For example

The measurements to the centre of the cam are 30mm and 45mm

The cylinder required would be,

30T/45

Always be careful when ordering  as cylinders with same measurements can have thumbturn on different sides.

The thumbturn side always shown with 'T' and always the internal side.
