This an Etching, on heavy paper of "Oriental Stringed Instruments Known in Egypt". It is a 1961 rendering, after Guillaume André Villoteau (1759-1839) of the 1817 original and was published by Sidney L. Lucas, NY. It depicts these stringed instruments in very fine detail. This is part of Napoleon's campaign in Egypt and prepared for a famous historical volume, "Description de l’Égypte"("Description of Egypt"). 
Image measures approx. 17 X 32 and is in Very Good Vintage condition.
Paper measures 22 3/4 X 28 1/2 and is in Good to Very Good Vintage condition. There are minor signs of handling, mostly around the corners. They can easily be covered by a mat.
