This listing is for a gorgeous, what we consider to be an Original Featherly Friends Spritz Bird which stands approximately 7 1/2" tall and was in manufacture circa 1987.  Crafted for Harvest House Quality Wares in China, this contemporary 1987 elder pilgrim featherly friend is all dressed up in fall colored pilgrim gear all set for the up-coming Thanksgiving celebration which can only be properly described through pictures! Twenty-five years ago, in 1987 prior to the Target Stores Spritz Birds collecting craze came to be, there were 'The Originals'.  Target took over the exclusive distribution of the Spritz Birds manufacture in 2012 and made the product line their own.  Today these cute and highly collectable birds are found made out of felt and stand approximately 6" tall.  In the beginning they stood at approximately 7" constructed of felt embellished with some even higher quality materials as you can see in our pictures. Be the talk of your collecting community...Just like vampires, the originals are the best, strongest and the rarest...Own an original and rare Pilgrim which you can receive in time for this year's Thanksgiving Day celebration!

The condition of this piece is EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT with NO chips, cracks, crazing, fading or any other visual imperfections.  This is a used piece so there may be some minor usage wear & tear if any consistent with its contemporary age.  This piece is to be considered NOS New Old Stock as it has its original hang tag and has not been removed or played with.  View and zoom-in on pictures for further details.
