The third volume, provisionally titled "Civil War " presents

information about the issues of postage stamps of the territories of the former Russian Empire in

the period of the First World War and the Civil War (1916-22), the Republics of Transcaucasia

1919-23 (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, ZSFSR, Batum), Republics of Middle

Asia and Kazakhstan (1921-24), Ukraine (1918-23), Belarus (1919),

Western Ukraine (1918-20), Central Lithuania (1919-20), Memel

(Klaipeda) 1920-23, the Baltic Republics (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia) up to

before their entry into the USSR (1918-41), Tuva (1931-43), as well as

Transcarpathian Ukraine (1939-45), temporarily occupied territories of the USSR in

the period of the Great Patriotic War (1941-45) and the post of the territory of Germany,

occupied by Soviet troops in the post-war period.
