Investigating a young woman’s mysterious illness, Holmes and Watson find her already under the care of Dr. Van Helsing, whose methods at first seem very odd. But when the two detectives find themselves battling her demonic attacker, they barely manage to survive. Unfortunately, the supremely logical mind of Sherlock Holmes is unable to reconcile his concept of reality with the obviously supernatural nature of his vampiric enemy. It appears that Dracula will have free rein to terrorize London, unless Watson and Van Helsing can bring Holmes back from the edge of insanity.

Now, Eternity Comics presents, "Scarlet in Gaslight", The streets of London are haunted by the long shadows of vampires. Controlled by the nerfarious Dr. Moriaty and Count Dracula, an army of undead murderers has been raised to extend Moriaty's criminal empire and plunge London into a new dark age. Only Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Watson, and the vampire-slayer Dr. Van Helsing have a chance of stopping Moriaty's evil plot in time...

Story (Spoilers!)

Investigating the strange illness of Lucy Westenra in the pleasant English town of Whitby, Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Watson and Dr. Van Helsing become involved in Holme's most unsual case yet. Having witnessed Dracula drain Lucy of her life's blood and transform himself into bat, the rational Sherlock Holmes is drien to the brink of insanity. A short time later, Moriaty used the now undead Lucy to his own ends, terminating the alliance between himself and Dracula with silver bullets. Dracula survived Moriaty's onslaught and took refuge with the actress Sarah Bernhard. Dracula's resting place was soon discovered by the indomitable Sherlock Holmes, however, and now the Lord of the Undead has offered to ally himself with the World's Greatest Detective.
