Up for your consideration is this antique tapestry textile. This I believe is a Dutch Tapestry. The tapestry depict a farm scene of two courting couples. They are wearing clogs which were first made in the Netherlands....It has great color and has little wear. There is some light staining on the tapestry. The tapestry measures 55"  long (5'5")x 19 1/2 wide (1' 9 1/2"). On the reverse side the tapestry depict the pictorial scene from the front. The weave goes in different directions and are strong. Antique tapestries will convey a story scene and pictorial scene on the back. I believe this to be a Victorian tapestry. I am unclear of the material. This would look amazing framed and on display. It is just a lovely antique textile.Tapestries and textiles were originally a decorative way to keep cold  draughts out of large homes or for home-owners to decorate tall long walls and demonstrate their wealth. I believe this is machine woven from the late 1800's early 1900's
