Angelehnt ist das Design an das originale Motiv von Horst Hahne aus dem Jahr 1993. Umrandet wir das springende Känguru von den Aufschriften "100 DOLLARS", "1 OUNCE .9999 Au" und "30TH ANNIVERSARY". Ebenfalls im Design enthalten ist der Prägebuchstabe "C" für die Prägestätte Canberra in Australien. Die Rückseite präsentiert das Jody-Clark-Porträt von Königin Elizabeth II, ergänzt mit den Jahreszahlen ihrer Regierungszeit "1952-2022", sowie dem Ausgabestaat "AUSTRALIA" und dem Ausgabejahr "2023".

With this exclusive issue, the Royal Australian Mint is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the worldwide popular kangaroo series. Struck from one ounce of 99.99% pure gold in proof quality, the motive features the "King of the Outback" and one of Australia's most famous landmarks - the Kangaroo. The design is based on the original motive by Horst Hahne from 1993. The jumping kangaroo is surrounded by the inscriptions "100 DOLLARS", "1 OUNCE .9999 Au" and "30TH ANNIVERSARY". Also included in the design is the mintmark "C" for the mint in Canberra, Australia. The reverse presents the Jody Clark portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, complemented with the years of her reign "1952-2022", as well as the state of issue "AUSTRALIA" and the year of issue "2023".

First issued in 1993, the Kangaroo coin is one of the most famous issues from the Royal Australian Mint's coin program.
