This compass is in excellent condition, still in original box with instruction card, it has some age related marks etc , but I don’t think this has had any active use as the thumb D ring has no paint missing these are brass , and normally missing some paint due to rubbing , the radium paint coating has turned a brown colour ,as have all others I have seen , this coating degrades with age and this item is basically 85yr old, great piece of kit still in working condition I have checked it’s magnetic North, please view photos and thanks for your interest
