The old Gablonz region of the former Czechoslovakia is famous for producing beaded Christmas ornaments. While the older ornaments were purely made with wired antique blown mercury glass beads, the later retro ornaments used a variety of materials including metals, plastics, wire and felts, although many were still made with antique beads.
From the 1970's to the late 1980's, these are in intact condition but may gave fading to the silver bead linings, creases to the foil and tangled tinsel.
