Up for sale is the 1967 version Gyaos from the X-Plus 30cm (12 inch) scale vinyl figure series.  This is the original Gyaos that appeared in the 1967 Gamera film "Gamera vs. Gyaos" a.k.a. "Return of the Giant Monsters".  The figure is based on the X-Plus resin kit and is an excellent sculpt and paint job and would go well with any 30cm Gamera figure.  One nice feature of the paint effect on the figure is the red highlighting on the wings which reflects the effect that sunlight had on the creature in the film.  The figure for sale here is in overall excellent condition with a couple of issues of note.  There is are some small scratches on the paint on the wing tip "thorn" at the end of each of the wings.  There is also a slight (but noticeable on close inspection) scratch in the paint on one side of the tail rudder/fin.  Both of these issues can be seen in the photos.   The figure had been removed from the box but was carefully stored and never displayed.  The plastic covers on the feet (part of the original packaging) were never removed.  The figure has been carefully returned to its box, which is included along with the original packaging.  The box is in very good condition.  Please note that this figure is not the one from the recent X-Plus Gamera/Gyaos 1967 combo release but is rather the earlier standalone (and I believe original) release.  Please refer to the photos as your best assessment of the figure's condition before deciding if you want to purchase.
