This is a Vintage R H Macy & Co. Solid Pewter Pitcher.  It stands 7" high x 8" from end of handle to tip of spout. and holds 5 pints.  On the underside of the pitcher it says Especially Made for R.H. Macy & Co., Solid Pewter, 917, 5 Pints.  

Macy's was founded in 1858 by Rowland Hussey Macy.  

This is a great piece of retail advertising for your collection.

Condition is very, good.  It has wear, dings, scratches and when filled with water it leaks on the bottom.
