Vladimir Mikhailovich Sinitski (1896-1986) was born in the village Kurisove (Pokrovka), Odesa pr., Ukraine in 1896. He studied at the Odesa Art College 1912 - 1918/19; at the Odesa Free Art Studios 1920-21; at the Odesa Polytekhnikum of Visual Arts 1922, 1926/27/28. The artist was active in Odesa, exhibited with Kostandi Society in 1920s, and was member of the USSR Union of Artists. His paintings are displayed in the renowned Odesa Art Museum and most national art museums. Vladimir Sinitski was a very respected Odesa artist. He died in 1986 in Odesa.
