Invicta Subaqua Ocean Warrior mod 45271 men’s wristwatch.

These pieces have just arrived and are stunning. These are numbered Limited Edition Marvel Black Panther models. The Marvel Black Panther dial accent is quite subtle. The mask shape appears as a bridge to feature the chronograph and day registers. If you are a Marvel fan then all the better.

At 54mm in dia and 18 mm thick this piece is no shrinking violet. A heavily machined curve contour on the back of the case supports a comfortable wrist fit. The stainless bracelet is gorgeous with a polished gunmetal centre link and Matt black outer links. A machined one piece over centre double locking deployment clasp completes the picture.

The dial is line patterned and finished in a very dark, almost black, purple. Stick indices are finished in silver. Hour and minute hands are finished in white lume, outlined in silver. The main sweep seconds hand is in purple and wears the Black Panther logo on its tail. Three sub dials support chronograph functions of seconds and accumulated minutes, the third sub dial at the 9 o’clock position displays the day of the week. A date window sits in the 4 o’clock position.

The popularity of this model is no doubt attributed to it’s case design. There is not one surface of the casework that is flat. Three dimensional CNC machining is evident everywhere. Rather than me describe the case features I will endeavour to take detailed photographs. The screw down crown and pushers are in the shape of castle turrets. This model achieves a dive rated 500 metres of water resistance.

The unidirectional bezel has been radiused towards it’s outer edges allowing the timepiece to appear smaller than it is and also negating the tendency for the bezel to hook on clothing. The rotational click is quality all the way with no backlash.

These are exceptional quality timepieces for the money. The Swiss Ronda Z60 chronograph engine will give years of trouble free timekeeping with an expected battery life of 5 years. Being a Limited Edition Reserve piece the finish on these watches is beyond reproach.

I have been fielding enquiries recently in relation to the authenticity of the watches I sell and also customers wanting all plastics removed from the watches when being photographed.

Firstly all my watches are certainly authentic. I do not sell, replica watches all though I do know that replica Invicta's do exist as I have myself unknowingly purchase a couple. My advice is not to buy Invicta watches where the country of origin is China. Having said that both replica's I purchased were from the United States, obviously marketed through Chinese affiliates in that country. Try to buy from reputable sellers.

If I describe a watch as new, then it is new and generally is wrapped in the manufacture's plastics. I do remove and replace some but not all of these plastics for photographic clarity. Most of my customers prefer an unmolested product where plastics are concerned however if you are genuine in your enquiry and prefer that all plastics be removed for photographic purposes then contact me and I will oblige.
