This antique French doll from the 19th century is a true gem for collectors of all ages. With a height of 7 inches, this  doll features  a bisque  head that can move, and  peg jointed arms made of a composition  material.  She appears  to have straight human hair with lovely  brown eyes. She still wears her original  jester  costime made of crepe paper and metal bells....a rare find! Under her skirt is a stamp that indicates that she is made in France. She is not designed  with legs.

This doll, with the popular character of Polichinelle Jester Harlequin  in a Mignonette size, is a remarkable example of a pre-1900 toy. Its antique value is undeniable, making it a must-have addition to any dolls and bears collection.
