Rare circa 1920's Art Deco vase in a smoky brown-green, with hand-polished lip and superb acid-etched diagonal panels of leaves and berries on a textured ground, made in Lorraine, France, signed on bottom. Rounded base with two concentric rings above. Instantly striking and quintessentially Art Deco. Measures just shy of 10" high, with a 7" diameter at top. In excellent condition, free of chips or cracks or cloudiness - just some scratches to the bottom of the base.
