Incense burners are used to burn incense on glowing charcoal, which creates a sextremely pleasant fragrance that harmonizes your home.
But it is more than just a pleasant fragrance.
In the church, incense is used for the adulation of crosses, candles and worshippers.
Medicine attributes a disinfecting and healing effect to incense.
It been proven that frankincense fights pathogens and helps with rheumatic diseases, chronic bronchitis, asthma, intestinal inflammation and skin diseases
Generally, it is considered because of the 80 chemical compounds contained in frankincense, darunter the boswellic acid, as a "cure" for chronic inflammation.
Incense methods:
There are 2 types of incense burners: with incense charcoal or with tea light.
Incense burning with incense charcoal:
1. The incense charcoal must be lit outside because of the soot and glow for about 10-15 minutes until the coal has become completely red and a hell gray layer becomes visible. For this, we recommend our special quick-lighting coal and tongs or spoon for convenient safe lighting. Outdoors, the burning time of coal is shortened by the wind and temperature, which is also true for shisha. We recommend for the coal always a diameter of 33 mm for larger incense burner and a diameter of 27 mm for smaller incense burner.
2. You put the coal in the incense burner or shisha only when it has already turned completely red on the grid or incense burner sand (fire sand). The sand verringert the pollution from the censer and helps to reduce the heat development of the coal. On the hot coal is then der incense placed in appropriate quantities. In the beginning, a Drop amount is enough. Since the incense burner becomes very hot , we recommend special coaster to order

Note: One should always be very careful and let the coal cool for about 2-3 hours before ma throw it in the trash. It is very important to erate the room after smoking.
Smoking with tealight candles:
When smoking with tealight candles, the candle is first lit, whereupon the incense is placed on top in an appropriate amount.
