This listing is for a rough slab of Millefiori Glass, 100% natural. It can be used for lapidary to make cabochons or as a display specimen.

Millefiori, which translates to “thousand flowers”, is one of the oldest and most sought after techniques used in Murano glass making. By molding glass rods together into a bundle, the artisans create whimsical patterns resembling flowers. Once these glass “bundles” are heated, they can be stretched and manipulated into whatever unique shape the artisan desires. Just like a flower existing in nature, no two millefiori creations are exactly alike.

If you’ll be displaying the slab in your collection, we have easel stands which can be purchased separately.  We have 2″ and 3″ ones available.   Click here for easel stands.
