A sterling silver collar/flip-top and crystal glass ink well with a beautiful hob-nail patterned base.

The top is engraved 1905 although the hallmarks were registered in London in 1902.

The collar and top carry the sponsor's mark thought to be for George Beddingham, the London registration mark, the Sterling lion, the date letter for 1902 and the collar is also engraved with 'Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Ltd'.

Height is approximately 10.5 cm with a 9 cm diameter base.

Overall good antique condition, however the top has several dings to one side and the base has a nibble. See photographs.
