Not sure of provenance, but I believe this to be from the Altman carriage house in New York Built in 1896 . The buttons can still be depressed. The unit is untested not sure if it’s working . Buttons are made of mother of pearl Antique The Altman HOTEL BELLHOP room service call Button Wood Pearl Buttons .

Measures 3-1/2" across

No chips or cracks in pearl, in tact. Corrosion in metal plate.
