Deeds Carillon is in several ways the most unusual of carillon towers. The shaft including foundation is 186 1/2 feet. The "chandelier" of 32 bells, weighing 33 tons, hangs exposed to view. Largest bell is six feet in diameter; smallest is 18 inches. Half-hour programs twice weekly, except in winter. Given to community by Mrs. Edward A. Deeds, civic leader and music patroness.
