The lens is professionally converted for use on cinema cameras. An OCT-18 mount is attached (for Konvas cameras). And an extra adapter for Arri PL mount is included.

This is a rare early red П version produced by KMZ(no LZOS) factory in 1959.
A family of Soviet photographic mirror-lens lenses, created on the basis of research, Professor Maksutov. Is the second generation mirror-lens camera lens after "MTO". IT has 4 holes for the tripod, arranged in pairs of different diameters under 90 degrees.
Important note: because the lens has a huge overrun at infinity, it can be put on any sort of camera.
The focal point is "with overrun", it is necessary that it changes to "extreme temperature changes".
45.5 mm, while not losing focus on "infinity" (for example, cameras with a Nikon F bayonet, 5 mm).
MTO500 belongs to the super-range lens/mirror lenses. Lenses like this attract today with a huge focal length and compactness.
With adapter compatible to all modern SLR / DSLR cameras, Nikon, Canon, Sony etc.. Made in Russia, the authentic Soviet era product.
