I purchased the beautiful 1930 hand hooked Puppy with bow on velvet large square. I lined it with thick square patterned vintage fabric & double thick black satin mix fabric on back. Also, double machine sewed & reinforced hand stich any possible place. Matter of fact, I had to do several seams of up the near middle as the black background was not balanced on the original piece. Black velvet on black velvet is not easily seen; it only shows up in 2nd picture. Purse is freeform asymmetrical, & not rigid. Purse is freeform & not rigid. Bag is `10 1/2" x 11 1/2" & opens 5". Handles add another 3" to height & 7" wide. Red Celluloid handles are shaped by manufacturer to intertwine & clasp purse shut. Velvet satin bag overlaps metal rods at top to close bag.
