For your consideration is a porcelain kerosene lamp, with an ornate cast iron base.  I think of porcelain as a glass-like material that light can pass through, but only shadows can be seen.  A shapely piece of brass conceals the bolt that attaches the porcelain fount to the ornate cast iron base.  The top portion of the porcelain fount is glazed yellow.  The front and back of the fount, are decorated with orange flowers and green "leaves" (the decorations are also glazed.  The total height, is approximately 18".  From the surface it is sitting on, the height to the top of the collar is approximately 9".  Measuring from the tip of a foot, to the tip of the opposite foot, is 7 1/4".

This lamp is an old item that was used.  The porcelain is perfect, however the paint on the ornate cast iron, is not original.  The Ebling type collar is not attached and has a vertical split in it.  The all-steel burner does not have a wick and I assume it is a reproduction.  I assume the chimney is a reproduction.  Please, carefully examine the pictures, as the pictures are part of the description.
