VTG 1986 Squier (Gold Script) by Fender JAPAN MIJ E Series Z TL-354 21 Fret Maple Telecaster Neck

Vintage USED Gold Script SQUIER Logo neck that played well with no notable standout issues at recent time of dismantlement. Truss rod moves well and is just great with most of the one-way adjustment left in it. Frets have some dings (see photos) and may need some work down the road, but played well at time of dismantlement. Frets look to be original and are in nice shape considering the age of the neck. Frets are clean on top, but have tarnish on sides - neck could use a detailed cleaning. Most of the finish is substantial and glossy as per these model, but there is some thinning nearer to the nut/headstock positions. Neck has some nice figure near most seen area by position markers. Skunk stripe is nice with a small knot figure. There are some dings and scratches - please see photos with red pointer, but there are more so please see all photos using the zoom feature. Just a great high quality Japanese neck! Please SEE NOTES below. Please see all photos for details, measurements, condition and feel free to ask any questions, thank you.

* Micrometer NOT INCLUDED, Just For Measurements And Size References

* Comes With Original Screws (4) For Best Possible Fitment - They Came Out Well And Were Snug In Holes.

* Ran some cottonballs along both side fret ends and nothing caught, so that's really good. Fretboard edges have slight factory curve  that is comfortable. Grain runs through all of the heel, so I suppose it is a one piece neck.

Notes: This neck is best for a direct replacement for the TL-354, but may need additional cleaning, service and professional installation that may include shims or other work for perfect alignment with another body. Should it be used for a entirely new build, more professional work may be needed for the neck to body fitment. Most information (online opinions) indicate/s that this neck was based on a 1954 model Fender Telecaster neck. Please research this yourself for what these things mean. Building or repairing bolt on neck guitars is part art, part science, so please seek the advice and service of a good luthier and/or guitar tech for best results, thank you.
