The weapon can be held multiple ways. It can be held over the shoulder like a traditional rocket launcher, or it can be held more underhanded like a Gatling gun. Because the rear handle is adjustable, the weapon can be held closer to the shoulder like a machine gun, or it can be extended and held further more like a rifle. See pics for examples.

This is designed for 1:12 scale figures which are about 6''. 7'' can also work. Some common lines these are compatible with include Marvel Legends, McFarlane, GI Joe Classified, Star Wars Black Series, etc. Given that it is a bit futuristic looking, it probably works best with the sci-fi lines like Star Wars.
