Repair was expensive so I let it sit.  When I finally got around to looking into a repair, the 30 year warranty was done.

It sat some more.  I bought a new machine, but it didn't sew like this gem. 
So I finally took it to be repaired - and the local repair shop says it can't be fixed because they can't get original parts.  

Hopefully I can help you fix your machine by taking off whatever part you request.
