Antique Victorian Laquered PAPIER MACHE SNUFF BOX in SHOE SHAPE dating to the 1860-1880

measures 3'' long and 1.5'' high. 

This little shoe is decorated with an inlay design silver or pewter and inlaid wire stitching, zig zag trim and buttons. The bottom is equipped with dots on the sole of the shoe, 4 of the dots are missing.

There is a small chip mark on the top side which is lacquered so probably from origin manufacture and mentioned for accuracy.
