Ax Design Lab

Why Ibanez remains committed to being "innovative," "cutting-edge," and "pioneering."

That's because Ibanez's mission is to "bring out the maximum creativity and performance of the players of that era."

Regardless of level or years of experience, all players will experience hardships, worry, and sometimes hit big walls.

Ibanez hopes to be a "solution-type" gear that supports and supports all "challengers" called players, and helps them overcome such challenges together.

To that end, I don't mind creating exciting, cutting-edge guitars that are not bound by common sense, and that are unexpected and sometimes even unbalanced.

All for the players who live today and their music.

Ax Design Lab is a new series that embodies Ibanez's brand identity.

Evertune F model bridge

A revolutionary system that keeps the tension of the spring installed inside each string saddle and the tension of the strings constant, eliminating out-of-tuning under any usage conditions and enabling stress-free playing while always maintaining stable tuning. It is a bridge.

*Balking is possible depending on the setup settings.

Ultra-thin neck shape “Super Wizard HP” in pursuit of ease of playing and thinness

Aiming for a more natural sound and high strength, it is completed by combining 5 pieces of maple wood and wenge wood (both thick materials).

This shape is perfect for players who prefer an extremely light grip, and is the reason why Ibanez is the pioneer of thin necks.

Makassar ebony fingerboard

It is a hard material with a distinctive vertical striped heather that produces excellent sound.

Jumbo size stainless steel frets

It is well-maintained, has a fast sound build-up, and features both good separation when playing chords and clear sound when playing single notes.

african mahogany body
