Up for bid is a game used baseball used on September 18, 2023 at Minute Maid Park.  This baseball was pitched by Pressly to Rutschman in the Top of the 9th inning.  The baseball was thrown for 2 pitches!   

This baseball includes the RARE Astros City Connect "Space City" Commemorative logo. This is a great, clean example of the logo!  This logo will ONLY be used for select Monday games in 2023.  This was the eleventh and final game in 2023 this logo was used and only game versus the Orioles.  A very rare logo!

In this game, the Orioles beat the Astros 8 to 7.  Gunner Henderson was 3 for 5 with his 9th TRIPLE of the season.  Cedric Mullions hit his 15th Home Run of the season.  Jose Altuve had two doubles, Kyle Tucker a triple, and Jose Abreu a Home Run for the Astros.  Justin Verlander pitched 6 innings with 5 strike outs and the no decision.  

The baseball was removed from play and authenticated by Major League Baseball.  The MLB authentication record is shown and can be found in the online database.
